All of our sessions are delivered live through our online platform. Once you subscribe, you'll get access to your student dashboard where you can join scheduled sessions, access resources, complete worksheets, and track progress — all in one place. No extra software downloads are required.
We deliver all live sessions through tools integrated directly into our LearnDash platform. Everything happens within your student account — you don't need to manage separate apps or links. You'll receive clear joining instructions when you sign up.
Your child will need:
If your child experiences technical difficulties during a live session, they should refresh their browser first. If the issue persists, they should email info@missdavistutoring.com straight away so we can advise. Where a session is significantly disrupted due to a platform issue on our side, we will reschedule or offer a credit. We are not able to offer refunds for issues caused by the student's own internet or device.
Sessions may only be recorded with your explicit written consent as a parent or guardian. If recordings are enabled, they will be available within your student dashboard for review. Tutors are not permitted to record sessions on personal devices under any circumstances.
All tutoring sessions — group and 1-to-1 — are delivered live by a qualified tutor. Our platform also includes pre-recorded revision resources, worksheets, and study materials that your child can access at any time as part of their subscription.
Session schedules vary by plan and are published on your student dashboard once you subscribe. If a particular time slot doesn't work for your family, contact us and we'll do our best to find a suitable alternative.
In the rare event that a tutor needs to cancel a session, we will notify you as early as possible and reschedule the session at no additional cost. We do not offer cash refunds for individual cancelled sessions, but we will always ensure the session takes place.
Yes. All sessions are delivered through our controlled platform environment. Tutors are vetted with Enhanced DBS checks before working with any student. Our platform does not allow direct messaging between tutors and students outside of sessions. For full details, please read our Safeguarding Policy on our website.
Yes. We actively encourage parents and guardians to be present or nearby during sessions, particularly for younger students. You are welcome to observe at any time. If you have any concerns about what you see or hear during a session, contact us immediately at info@missdavistutoring.com.
Welcome! Once your subscription is active, you'll receive a confirmation email with your login details and a getting started guide. Log into your student dashboard, complete your profile (including your year group and exam board if applicable), and explore the resources available for your plan. If you're on Accelerator or Elite, your first session will be scheduled within the first week.
Our GCSE programme covers core subjects aligned to major UK exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR). Our Primary programme focuses on Maths and English fundamentals. Specific subject availability is listed on your plan page. If you have a question about a specific subject, email us before subscribing.
We support AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. When you set up your student profile, you'll be asked to select your exam board so that resources, mock exams, and revision materials are aligned to the right specification.
If you miss a live group session, you will not receive an automatic reschedule — the session continues without you. We strongly recommend letting us know in advance if you can't attend. Elite plan students (1-to-1) should give at least 24 hours' notice so the session can be rescheduled. Repeated missed sessions without notice may result in your slot being offered to another student.
All resources are available directly in your student dashboard under the Resources tab. Materials are updated regularly and are organised by subject and topic. Foundation plan students have full access to the resource library. Accelerator and Elite students also receive personalised materials aligned to their progress.
Mock exams are included in Accelerator and Elite GCSE plans. They are timed, exam-style assessments that mirror the real GCSE format. Once completed, your tutor will provide detailed written feedback identifying your strengths and areas to focus on. Mocks are scheduled within your dashboard and must be completed in a single sitting.
All plans include access to our structured revision resources in the dashboard — start there. Accelerator and Elite students also have access to Q&A academic support, where you can submit a question and receive a response from a tutor. If you're on the Foundation plan and need more support, consider upgrading to Accelerator.
Progress tracking depends on your plan. Elite students receive parent progress reports and personalised feedback after every session. Accelerator students receive mock exam feedback and can track their performance over time. Primary students on Growth and Elite plans receive weekly tutor feedback and skill tracking reports. All students can see their completed work and assessments in their dashboard.
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time by emailing info@missdavistutoring.com. Upgrades take effect from your next billing date. Downgrades are treated as a cancellation of your current plan and a new subscription at the lower tier — standard cancellation terms apply.
If you have any concern about a tutor's behaviour, the content of a session, or anything that made you feel uncomfortable, tell a parent or guardian straight away and ask them to contact us at info@missdavistutoring.com. All concerns are taken seriously and handled confidentially. If you ever feel unsafe, tell a trusted adult immediately.
Miss Davis Tutoring & Performance Limited is a UK-registered online tutoring company founded and directed by Seroca Davis, a qualified teacher. We provide structured, curriculum-aligned online tutoring for children aged 5 to 16, across Primary and GCSE levels. Our mission is to give every child access to quality educational support — from foundational confidence-building through to top GCSE results.
Our Primary programmes are designed for children aged 5 to 11. Our GCSE programmes are designed for students aged 14 to 16. If your child falls outside these ranges or is in a transition year, contact us before subscribing and we'll advise on the best fit.
It depends on your child's needs and your level of involvement:
If you're unsure, start with the free trial on the plan you're considering. You can upgrade at any time.
Yes. All new subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No payment is taken during the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription activates automatically and your first payment is taken. The free trial is available once per household.
Monthly subscriptions are charged on a recurring basis on the same date each month. Annual subscriptions are charged as a single upfront payment at a 20% discount on the monthly rate. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
If a payment fails, we will retry three times — on the due date, then 3 days later, then 3 days after that. If all three attempts fail, your child's account will be suspended and access removed until the outstanding balance is cleared. You will be notified by email at each stage.
Email info@missdavistutoring.com to request cancellation. Allow 3–5 business days for processing. Your child retains full access until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing month. Full cancellation terms are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy on our website.
All new subscriptions are covered by a 14-day full refund guarantee from the date of sign-up — no questions asked. After 14 days, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current period. Annual subscriptions cancelled after 14 days are non-refundable in cash, but remaining value can be taken as account credit, transferred to another student, or you can pause the subscription for up to 90 days. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Yes. All tutors who work with students through Miss Davis Tutoring hold an Enhanced DBS check with barred list check before working with any child. Records of all DBS certificates are maintained by our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Seroca Davis. Tutors also complete safeguarding training before delivering sessions.
We take online safety seriously. All sessions are delivered through our controlled platform — tutors cannot contact students outside of it. One-to-one sessions are conducted in a way that keeps parents informed and able to observe. Session recording requires your explicit written consent. Our full approach is set out in our Safeguarding Policy, which is available on our website.
We collect only what is necessary to deliver the service: your child's name, year group, exam board, and subscription plan. We do not collect date of birth. All data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the ICO Children's Code. We use Stripe for payments, Google Workspace for communications, LearnDash for platform delivery, and Mailchimp for marketing emails (only where you have consented). Full details are in our Privacy Policy on our website.
This depends on your plan. Elite plan parents receive regular progress reports and monthly strategy calls (Primary Elite) or parent progress reports (GCSE Elite). Accelerator / Growth parents can track progress through mock exam feedback and skill reports. Foundation plan parents can view completed work in the student dashboard. If you want more regular communication, Elite is the right plan.
Contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Seroca Davis, immediately at info@missdavistutoring.com. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, call 999. We treat all safeguarding concerns with the utmost seriousness. Our full Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy is available on our website.
All communication with tutors must go through our platform or via info@missdavistutoring.com. Direct contact between parents and tutors outside of our system is not permitted. This protects both your child and our tutors, and ensures all communication is monitored and recorded appropriately.
Our primary delivery is online. We are developing Saturday school revision sessions which may be available in person at selected venues. These will be announced on our website. In-person sessions require separate written consent and are subject to our safeguarding and supervision policies.
